The recent bad weather conditions the ‘Beast from the East’ and ‘Storm Emma’ have caused widespread disruption to business. Scheduling of mandatory training is challenging at any time, never mind when the weather causes cancellations. Next week, business owners, HR manager and Health & Safety Managers will have to plan rescheduling of training. This along with the burden of catching up from missed days and backlogs will put the pressure on.

Choice Training & Consultancy had to cancel courses in Kildare, Wicklow, Dublin, Carlow, Meath and Monaghan this week. Client and trainer safety was at the forefront of our minds. We had some trainees even travelling to us from as far as Donegal, Kerry and Clare! We have already rescheduled dates working closely with our trainers and clients.

Reduce Hassle with Online Training

Our clients who use our online training courses on our LMS or their own company branded LMS didn’t have to worry about rescheduling and we even got trainees registered on the system so they could complete the courses from home if they couldn’t make it to work. Luckily we can work from home when required and get employees set up for required mandatory training or they can even set themselves up via our training portal online.

Online training requires a tablet, laptop or PC with internet access – after that you really can complete the courses anywhere, at any time. As long as the electricity doesn’t go 🙂 Charge up the batteries!
